At EcoBauli we believe that building a whole ecosystem around Kenaf (from cultivation to various finished industrial products) would be beneficial for Georgia. Kenaf and Kenaf-based products can have positive effects on the Georgian economy, health, environment, help to protect forests and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. In several developing countries the governments have decided to subsidise Kenaf cultivation as well as production of Kenaf-based products and also scientific research to unlock the full potential of Kenaf with the goal to create a new, export-oriented, and green economic sector. 

EcoBauli wants to promote Kenaf cultivation and production of Kenaf-based products

• by helping people to grow Kenaf with methods that minimize the input costs,

• by offering Kenaf growers to buy and/or process their harvest centrally to democratize economies of scale in Kenaf processing,

• by promoting Kenaf as promising resource for production of various products,

• by providing know-how and technology consulting to manufacturers who seek to incorporate Kenaf-based materials into their products,

• by explaining impact oriented non-profit organisations and government agencies how they could contribute to building a Kenaf ecosystem in Georgia.
